President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will “collapse” Ghana with his style of leadership, Alhaji Sani, a stalwart of the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has said.
Alhaji Sani was commenting on the Police CID’s invitation extended to the National Chairman of the NDC, Samuel Ofosu- Ampofo over the recent spate of kidnappings and fire disasters in the country.
“President Akufo-Addo has failed the people of Ghana and, so, he’s finding ways of fighting NDC leaders. He’ll collapse Ghana with how he’s governing,” Alhaji Sani told Kwabena Prah Jnr.[The Don] on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM on Thursday, 9 May 2019.
He added that: “Fire disasters have been with us for a very long time and so as a nation we need to find ways of dealing with it and not to tag NDC leaders of being behind the disasters. By the grace of Allah the NPP cannot destabilise the NDC, never!”
Meanwhile, former President John Mahama has accused the “desperate” governing New Patriotic Party’s Akufo-Addo administration of using the CID to “constantly harass” Mr Ofosu-Ampofo, with “very useless, frivolous and vexatious” allegations.
