The Vice President Kwesi Amissah-Arthur yesterday, Tuesday attended the centenary celebration of World War 1 and the 69th Remembrance Day parade in Accra.

The event which is observed on November 11 every year is to remember ex-service personnel for their participation World Wars I and II, for the peace of the country.

The event attracted personnel from all the security services and including traditional rulers, Members of Parliament, and members of the Diplomatic Corps at the Osu cemetery. The event was also observed at all the ten regional capitals in the country.
